MN Dept. Of Health Announces End To Face Covering Requirement

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, as of June 30, 2021, there is no longer a statewide requirement to wear face coverings in most settings. However, other federal, state, or local laws may require face coverings in some settings, and businesses may set their own requirements.

The MN Department of Health does, however, offer recommendations regarding face coverings for unvaccinated people, vaccinated people, immunocompromised people and more on its website. To get the latest information on face coverings from the MN Department of Health, click here.
