• Certificates of Deposit (CDs) provide higher interest than regular savings accounts in return for your agreement to invest for specified periods of time. (Penalty for early withdrawal may be imposed.)

Valley Savings

• Minimum deposit $200
• Minimum deposit $25 for students, minors, senior citizens and qualifying nonprofit organizations
• Rate may change at any time
  Service charge of $3.00 if the daily balance in the account falls below $200 any day of the statement cycle
• Limited to six (6) preauthorized withdrawals each month

Valley Preferred Savings

• Minimum deposit: $1,000
• Variable rate of interest, compounded monthly
• Rate may change at any time
  Interest compounded monthly, credited monthly
  Service charge of $10 if the daily balance falls below $1,000 any day of the statement cycle
• Limited to six (6) preauthorized withdrawal each month.

The Graduate Certificate

This is a savings certificate of deposit for education which an adult establishes for a child or grandchild. The account produces a higher interest return than regular savings and allows continuous deposits for maximum growth.

• Minimum initial deposit of $100
• May be penalty for early withdrawal; a withdrawal will reduce earnings
